As I wrap up my year of hikes, I have nothing but good things to say about this challenge, especially as a twenty-something who was looking for a way to navigate life changes and stay balanced. It has challenged me immensely, but also helped me learn more about myself.
I want to know how many #52HikeChallenge participants have braced the midwest winds and snowstorms while getting their hikes in, because I am just about done with winter hiking. As much as I love living the in the North, going for a hike and risking frostbite is not always my cup of tea!
The North Shore of Minnesota is beautiful all year round. But the North Shore in the winter? Amazing. I am blown away.
